The Willows Café first opened in 2016 and was refurbished with the development of the Helen McArdle Wing in 2018. The café is run by volunteers and all profit goes to support the vital work at Willow Burn Hospice. Café.
Visiting The Willows Café
Please use the main Willow Burn entrance when visiting the café and leave via the garden.
When you arrive, please sign-in with the NHS Track and Trace App or fill in the Track and Trace form we have on display. Every person visiting must fill in this information as required by the Government. All customers are required to wear a mask when entering and leaving the café.
We kindly ask you to respect our neighbours who live on Maiden View when parking.
The Willows Café is now serving the Willow Burn Blend, created by Durham Coffee. You can also purchase bags of the Willow Burn Blend whilst at the café, so you can enjoy a taste of Willow Burn at home.
Loyalty Reward Scheme
Don’t forget to pick up your loyalty card on your next visit to the Willows Café. After your sixth hot drink, you will get your seventh for free.
The Potting Shed at Willow Burn
The Potting Shed is our plant and gift shop located in the Willow Burn Gadens. Come along and see the treasures you can find, every visit will be different!
All purchases for The Potting Shed can be made in the Willows Café.
You must not visit the Willows Café if you have symptoms, are waiting for test results or have been advised to self-isolate as either a case or contact. It is essential to maintain good levels of hand hygiene at all times. Please use the handwashing facilities / hand sanitiser available on arrival and prior to leaving the hospice.
