Donations to The Potting Shed
We are delighted to accept items for the Potting Shed, however to ensure we can provide customers with safe, accurate information, all donated knitted items must meet the labelling guidelines below.
Key Requirements for Knitted Clothing & Accessories
1. Fibre Content Labelling (Required) Every item must include an accurate and easy‑to‑read fibre content label. Examples: 100% Acrylic, 80% Acrylic, 20% Wool. The label should be securely attached to the item (or you can provide us with the details and we will do this part)
2. Use of “100%”, “Pure”, or “All” (Legal). These terms can only be used if the item is made from one single fibre type.
For example: 100% Wool — acceptable. 100% Wool for a wool‑acrylic blend — not allowed
