The Willow Burn Day Service focuses on self-care, wellbeing and condition management in a friendly group setting, to enable people living with a life-limiting condition to live well at home. The service is operated from the Sir Tom Cowie Health and Wellbeing Centre, purpose-built to provide a warm friendly environment for social interaction, designated rooms for treatments and therapies, and access to beautiful gardens. We also have a dedicated Complementary Therapist to offer treatments to patients and clients.
Helping you to live well
“The care here is first class, I love the friendliness of the staff and everyone else, and I look forward to Thursdays more than anything, especially the music.”
How do I get a referral for Day Services at Willow Burn?

No referral is needed for the drop-in sessions but you will need a referral for the Thursday and Friday groups, where you will be assessed to agree which is the best group to meet your needs.

"Only a poet could write the words to properly describe how utterly grateful myself and my family are for the help, care, respect and love you showed my mum.
All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you."
“How do I thank you all? Where do I begin? The care, love and support you showed my beautiful sister and also to our whole family was incredible. You are a superb team and you should be very proud of every shift you work. There aren’t enough words or big enough words to continue...so in the words of my sister...if the only prayer you say in your entire life is ‘thank you’ that’ll be enough. Much love to you all ”
"I have never laughed so much in years, I have had the most fantastic day and I can't wait to come back next week!"
