Susan Gray lives with her husband in Consett. She has a son and daughter, both married, two granddaughters and a grand dog.
After a career in primary teaching, Susan embraced retirement fulfilling her ambition to travel, attend Wimbledon and write a novel. She enjoys reading, walking, crafting, doing puzzles, catching up with friends over a coffee and being a gran.
Susan writes romantic mysteries set in the North East in the 1920s and has three published books; 'Spanish House Secrets', 'Blossoming of Truth' and her newly released novel 'Hope on Hope'.
Ticket price includes Afternoon Tea for one, meet and greet with Susan and hear her inspirational writing journey and her motivations to become a writer as she presents her inspiring talk 'You Are Never Too Old to Follow Your Dreams' plus a raffle, tombola, games and more.
