In 2023 David, a Cricket Coach and member of Burnhope Cricket Club set himself a challenge to donate 10p a run and £1 a wicket or catch for his full 2023 season to Willow Burn Hospice in memory of his beloved Grandad Selby.
With the help of his squad at Burnhope Cricket Club, his family and friends, David raised a tremendous £238.30
