Retail Shop Assistant Volunteers (Chester-le-Street)

Location: Front Street, Chester-le-Street

Hours: Opportunities available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday, Saturday (minimum of four hours)

Team Leader: Shop Manager

Role Description

To work as part of the volunteer team  - receiving, sorting and preparing stock for sale.  Merchandising goods for sale, customer service on the shop floor and checkout, general housekeeping duties.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Willingness to complete Food Hygiene Level 2 and mandatory training

  • Accuracy and attention to detail
