Job Title:               Fundraiser

Salary:                   £18,000 – £20,000 actual salary for 30hrs DOE

Hours:                   30hrs – 4 days per week to be worked over Monday to Friday and flexibility for weekends

Reports to:           Marketing Communications Manager

We are recruiting for an experienced, dedicated and motivated fundraiser to join the Income Generation Team at Willow Burn. This is an exciting time to join the team as we embark on a new marketing and income generation strategy for the hospice.

Job Purpose

To significantly contribute towards the implementation of the multi-disciplinary income generation strategy across all income generating disciplines with particular focus on; corporates, community activities, challenge events.

To create an annual unique Willow Burn Event to generate income and target a younger audience.

To build long term donor relationships, generate income to target, and maximise on income generation opportunities.

To act as the first point of contact for Willow Burn Hospice supporters, providing focus for community engagement and generic fundraising, driving the implementation of fundraising activities, driving the  and ensuring that optimum income is achieved cost effectively.

To work as a positive member of the team to ensure a strong positive internal and external image is maintained.

To ensure significant income through charitable grants, trusts, foundations and non-statutory funding bodies, to fund general and specific projects on behalf of Willow Burn Hospice.
