Join us at the lovely Beamish Park Hotel in County Durham for our next Celebration & Events Network meeting.
This month we will be joined by the talented Ann English. Ann English from Creative Intrigue will be speaking at our meeting on Monday 25th June presenting an introduction to The Art of Visual Merchandising. Ann is a freelance Creative Consultant and Business Coach with over 30 years’ experience in design, display, retail and events. She began her career creating window displays for The Body Shop and helped build a start-up business into the UK’s leading supplier of large-scale seasonal displays and interactive experiences for major Shopping Centres across the UK. Her claim to fame is she invented The Metrognomes and has worked for the BIG 3 – Santa, Mickey Mouse and Willy Wonka! Ann specialises in Visual Merchandising, Brand Development and #IdeasMapping, enabling businesses to turn their ideas into reality and achieve their goals. During the talk, Ann will explain how important Visual Merchandising is as a cost effective and silent sales technique. She will show you case studies of how she’s helped businesses to present their brand, products and services in a way that is visually appealing to the eye of the customer to motivate them to make a purchase. You will leave with an understanding of how Visual Merchandising can be used to create intrigue, attract the attention of customers and increase sales.
