Christmas is coming and as we approach this special time of year we would like to invite you to join us to remember your loved one(s) online at our annual Light up a Life Service on Sunday 6 December.
For over 15 years the team at Willow Burn has put together a Light Up A Life Service in memory of loved one(s). Over the years the event has grown but the heart of it has never changed; it’s a time to come together and celebrate the lives of your loved one(s) in a caring and loving environment. Earlier in the summer, we made the decision that we couldn’t let the pandemic break this tradition, Light Up A Life will still go ahead, albeit a little different.
Light up a Life at Home
On Sunday 6 December at 2pm our Light up a Life Service will be streamed live over the internet from Willow Burn Hospice by DW Media. Unfortunately current restrictions mean we will be unable to host the service with guests as we usually would, so this is the next best thing. During the special service we will still sing carols, listen to readings and performances, and light candles in memory of loved ones, the only difference is, you will be joining us from the comfort of your own home.
The event is open to all members of the public who would like to remember someone special. All we ask is that you contact us make a dedication in our Book of Remembrance and so we can send you a Light Up A Life at Home Pack and a link to the service nearer the time.
