“Fair fa’ your honest, sonsie face, Great chieftain o the puddin’-race!”
Join us on Saturday 20th January as we celebrate Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns with our all-singing, all-dancing Burns Night at The Civic Hall, Stanley.
The fantastic 4 piece ceilidh band Blind Stag will get your feet tapping and your hands clapping before getting you up on the dance floor. Never been to a Ceilidh? Don’t worry, Caller Brian Padgett, will guide you through the dances and before long you’ll be dancing like a pro!
Watch as the haggis is carried into the room to the rousing sound of the lone piper, before you hear the Address to the Haggis; one of Robert Burns best known poems which has become synonymous with Burns Suppers.
After your traditional meal of haggis, neeps and tatties, you can get back on the dance floor to dance the night away!
During the night there will be competitions and games with chances to win some fantastic prizes!
Grab your partners by the hand and get your tickets now so you don’t miss out on this Scottish Spectacular!
