Adults living at home in the Derwentside community have the opportunity to attend our nurse led day services three days a week.
The focus of our programme is to provide services to help you to live well with your illness and we work with other local care and health providers to offer a range of services. The programme is holistic in its approach, maintaining a high quality of physical, psychological and spiritual well-being, ensuring you are enabled and supported during your journey with Willow Burn.
Where appropriate, individuals can currently access aromatherapy, reiki, massage, acupuncture and relaxation sessions from the therapists who visit the hospice.
How do I access the service?
You can access the Willow Burn day services through a referral from a health professional or via the Willow Burn Social Drop-In.
Tuesday Social Drop-In Thursday
Do you care for someone or do you know someone who does? Are you looking for somewhere to go together? The Tuesday Social Drop-In Group is every Tuesday between 11am – 2.30pm in the Willows Cafe at Willow Burn. It is a great way to get together with friends, old and new and chat about any health needs your or your friend/relative may have. Referrals and appointments are not needed, this is a drop-in group.
