Coronavirus Willow Burn Hospice Update

COVID-19 Update

Advice and Guidance for visiting Willow Burn
We support visiting at Willow Burn but additional restrictions are in place at this time due to Coronavirus in order to protect our patients, staff and visitors. It is essential that measures we put in place and advice we give is adhered to in order for visiting to be allowed to continue.

Please read our visitors guide which can be downloaded here: Visitor Guidance

Help Us Today To Support Our Tomorrow
Willow Burn relies on almost £1m of support from the community to run our services but due to the restrictions in place to stop the spread of Covid-19, our shops and café have were closed for over three months and fundraising and donations understandably reduced. This is a 70% reduction in income.

Our small Willow Burn team are still working incredibly hard to care for our in-patients and we continue to fundraise and refocus our income generation plans. We are so grateful for the donations and messages we have already received from our amazing friends and supporters. If you are able to support Willow Burn by making a donation then that would be incredible, it will truly make a difference to hospice care in Derwentside.

Wishing you all the very best
