Christmas is coming and as we approach this special time of year we would like to invite you to join us to remember your loved one(s) at our annual Light Up A Life service at St. Bede’s School on Sunday 8 December at 2pm.
Paul Jackson, Chairman of Willow Burn Hospice said: “Our first Light Up A Life service was held over 15 years ago in the grounds of Willow Burn Hospice. It was arranged by the Nursing Team to give families and friends the opportunity to reflect and share memories. Over the years the event has grown but the heart of it has never changed; it’s a time to come together and celebrate the lives of your loved ones in a caring and loving environment.”
During the service we will gather to sing carols, listen to readings and performances from All Saints RC Primary School, Lanchester Brass Band and Lanchester Choral Society, and light candles in memory of loved ones. Light up a Life is a warm, loving and festive event to be shared with friends and family.
Would you like to make a dedication to a loved one?
If you would like to remember your loved one(s) with a dedication, which will be included in the Book of Remembrance, please contact us before Monday 18 November at: firstname.lastname@example.org
