What better way to start October, than to be covered in mud and throwing yourself at obstacles you never thought you would be able to tackle?
On Sunday 1st October 14 members from BNI Centurion took part in Muddy Mayhem in aid of Willow Burn Hospice and it was a day full of fabulous friendly fun! With over 42 Obstacles to conquer throughout the 5K run everyone pushed themselves to the limit and realised ‘it was no walk in the park’.
Senior Fundraiser Laura Jane Forbes said “ It was a fantastic team effort and I am really proud of everyone for getting round the course and raising so much for Willow Burn Hospice; the money raised will make a huge difference to the patients we care for and I would like to thank BNI Centurion for their continued support.”
Chris Graham from Chris Graham Plastering said “I really enjoyed the day and there’s no better feeling than giving back to those who are in need. “
At the finish line the team were rewarded with a well-deserved medal and a runners T-shirt.
So far over £1590 was raised with money still coming in and they are ready to do it all over again next year!
